Closing Statement:
Please feel free to contact local hospitals, churches, religious affiliations, and additional online research to find other support groups in your area. If you are over the age of 21, and want to start entering the dating world, there are a few dating apps that specialize in connecting individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other hidden & various disabilities. Please be sure to advise either your parents, caregiver, direct support professional, or support coordinator if you are interested in joining a dating app. I know this is hard to accept, but it is best to have someone monitor your matches and direct messages while using dating apps and various social media. Even at the age of 27, I am very cautious on social media, and on dating apps I have monitoring. Unfortunately, men and women with disabilities can sometimes be a target for various types of exploitation either sexually, physically, financially, or used for various forms of trafficking.
