This recipe is so easy to make, delicious, melts in your mouth, great anytime, and especially for guests or even a holiday dinner! You can also substitute the beef by using chicken breast.
Yields: 3 to 4 servings
Ingredients
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 Tablespoons dried basil
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon black pepper
1.5 lbs. top sirloin steak, beef tenderloin, or flat iron steak cut in 1-inch pieces and trimmed
Instructions
1. Place all ingredients except steak pieces in a large Ziploc baggie
2. Stir with a spoon to combine
3. Drop steak pieces in the bag and seal shut
4. Shake gently to coat steak entirely in marinade
5. Place bag in refrigerator to marinate for at least 3 hours or up to 24
6. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Heat skillet until it’s very hot
7. Remove steak pieces from marinade using a slotted spoon and place in hot skillet
8. Discard marinade
9. Cook steak according to your desired temperature. (I like mine medium-well, so I cook it for about 3 to 4 minutes)
10. Serve warm
